Yamon 0.91 (Default branch)

Yamon is a very simple program designed to check
whether a server is up and running and to send an
alert to a human when something appears to be
broken. It can also perform some basic
troubleshooting to venture a guess as to why
things aren’t working properly.

Changes:
Multiple improvements were made to the alerting subsystem. Different monitors can now have different alert targets, email alerts can be sent over direct SMTP instead of invoking ‘mail’, and it is now possible to also send alerts to arbitrary external programs, including syslog.
