Which Is The Best Open Source Accounting Software?

If by “open source” you mean that you can see the code that runs it, I don’t think you will find any. There are many excellent program ranging in sophistication from basic programs like MS Money or Quickbooks, to more complex ones such as DacEasy and Peachtree ($400-600 range), and on to full fledged corporate programs costing thousands of dollars.
