Which Is The Best Free And Open Source Software For A Small Restaurant?

I am a self employed person in Tunisia. I run a small cafe under my house. Is there any free open source software to keep track of orders and payments? If that is open source I can probably change better way to fit my need.

Floreant POS @ 12:37 am

You have not told if you have some POS hardware already or you want to buy some touch terminal etc. I assume you will be running with lowest configuration and same terminal will be used for creating orders, managing menu and accepting payment.
Try Floreant POS open source Restaurant POS software from http://sourceforge.net/projects/floreantpos/ . Since its a Java based POS, it should fit on most of the hardware. You can start with standalone installation. Both database and touch terminal will be in one PC and then if needed add a separate database server in your back office.
For Screenshots and setup guides visit Floreant POS official site: http://www.floreantpos.com
