I’m fond of Evince

Foxit (while being a good piece of software) is not open source.

OpenOffice.org (while being a great PDF exporter) cannot read PDFs.

Check-out osalt.com for open source alternatives – see link below. I think Sumatra is the most popular alternative for Windows.

I use Foxit Reader that is free and also not so heavy.
