I want to design a website in opensource (using Joomla, Drupal). Is there anybody who could help me out?

Drupal and Joomla! are opensource Content Management Systems (CMS).

Most of the things you’ll need for a basic website (and more) are already handled by these CMS. Just changing the skin, banner logos, will be very easy to do.

If, however, you will need custom functionalites, you will need to create custom modules/components. You’ll need a help of a developer familiar with this one.

I would suggest you read up on Drupal (www.drupal.org) and Joomla! (www.joomla.org) and check if what you require is already handled by that CMS. Otherwise, check the Modules section (for Drupal) and the Extensions section (for Joomla!) to check if any of them would fit your needs.

These opensource CMS projects have a pretty extensive documentation. Checking out their respective forums will also help you a lot.

Happy CMSing! (so to speak) :)
