What Software Testing Tool Can I Use In Order To Test Java Applets?

I need to:
* Be Able To Set Parameters, Handle Variables And Change The Applet to be tested for example.
* Be Free (Opensource or Shareware). I mean, No Trialware or No Vendor.
* Be Available In Source Code Available or at least a “.jar”.
* Be Easy To Download.
* Able to test web application applets.
First of all thanks to those few dudes who have cared about my question and provide some answers. However, it is beyond ahead what I am expecting.

I am testing a Web Application by means of (SourceForge’s) Jameleon. It sets the parameters into the web browser (The Client) which interacts with the server.
My question deals with how to build
a Swing plug-in for that. Some tips???

JUnit or one of the other XUnit testing frameworks. We’ll be adding more content and web-based services over time. Initially we’ll be providing links to give you a one-stop destination to learn the latest information on unit testing.
