is there an opensource/freeware solution thats similar to “Writers DreamKit 4″ or “StoryMill3.0″ for Mac. I dont need a word processor, just something to organise my ideas/thoughts more efficiently. Thanks.

on attempting to open a zip file, WinRAR indicated that it was meant for 40 days trial period and thereafter either should buy or remove from computer. o.k., i removed. how about opening a zip file ? (instead of using WinRAR; could i use any other open source or freeware item ?
