I have a Sony DVD camcorder (DCRDVD108), and want to be able to post a short clips of the finished product onto you tube… how do i do it? if i need software, is there any free/opensource software available? thank you.

I recently bought a new external hard drive after my old one crashed. My old one came with a program that would automatically back up my files at a certain time every day. My new hard drive came with a few programs like that one – but they all cost money. I was wondering if there were any Open Source or free programs that I could download to use.
