need to share project files with someone. is there any easy to use, open source software for that?

it’s a programming project, i need to share the code with my teacher but we don’t get to exchange data physically very often. so it would be great if there was some kind of shared folder we could both access through the internet and add files or download them. we don’t want to use emails so it’s easier to follow the progress of the project.

This program called Hamachi sets up a VPN network all you do is create a network name and have them join it with the same program and its like they’re connected to your LAN network. Best part is its free.
