Is there open source or free, noise cancellation software out there?

Instead of buying expensive headphones with noise cancellation technology (like the BOSE quiet comfort), I am wondering if there is any (windows) software available that I can use with my current headphones? Preferably open source and/or free.

Try SoliCall.

From their site: “SoliCall has developed a patent-pending personalized algorithm for audio quality improvement. SoliCall specializes in noise reduction and echo cancellation technologies.”

I think their software improves audio quality in telephony.
