Can I make a good website for a hotel with Joomla or Mambo?

I made a site once with a free hosting addyour.net and had free MySQL server so I tried it..made a cool site as something to try but now since it’s down… It’s gone. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how difficult it’d be for me to make a website using OpenSource Software for a small hotel….

Do you think it’s do-able? or do I need more skills?

Ty!

All depends on your skills.. most open source CMS use PHP and MySql if you are good with those then you should be able to build a nice website for them. Check out phpwebsite from appstate university, or alfresco both are very good CMS and fairly easy to learn even template correctly.
