Are There Any Open Source Software For Backing Up My Documents Onto A Hard Drive At A Certain Time Every Day?

I recently bought a new external hard drive after my old one crashed. My old one came with a program that would automatically back up my files at a certain time every day. My new hard drive came with a few programs like that one – but they all cost money. I was wondering if there were any Open Source or free programs that I could download to use.

I assume you mean free rather then open source, as open source means the company allows people to read the code that makes up the software for free…
