Bugzilla is a Web-based bug tracking system that enables software developers to keep track of outstanding bugs in their product. The JumpBox for Bugzilla makes it easy to get started without worrying about getting the right collection of CPAN modules, database scripts, or Web server configuration.

Changes:
Some upstream packages are updated. A unique SSL certificate for the JumpBox Administration Portal is generated on initial boot. The expiration date of the self-signed certificate is 10 years from initial boot. An issue that complicated moving the JumpBox to a new directory with VMware has been resolved. Portability is still complicated by snapshots and suspends. Consider trying the JumpBox backup and restore tools where possible.

Vulture is reverse proxy based on Apache and
mod_perl. It brings many security-related
features, such as authentication (LDAP, SQL, SSL)
and authentication forwarding (SSO), flow
encryption, content filtering, URL rewriting, and
load balancing.

Several bugfixes and minor feature enhancements. Login page customization has been improved via a “/static” directory. Graceful reloading of Apache when needed has been added. Sessions are now stored in memcached for easier installation and administration.

lm_sensors provides essential tools for monitoring
the temperatures, voltages, and fans of Linux
systems with hardware monitoring devices. It
contains a library for sensors access
(libsensors), a command-line tool for sensor
reporting (sensors), and a daemon (sensord). It
also contains scripts for sensor hardware
identification and fan speed control.

pwmconfig has been improved a lot and is now slightly less user-unfriendly. sensors-detect knows of a dozen additional devices, and was made more reliable for another half dozen.

Bash.Diff is a patch against Bash shell. In the
main core, it adds the following syntax: {a..b};
${var|…}; then-else-fi to for/while/until/case
statements; try-block with string exception;
<&lt+; and, <<<<. As builtin, it
adds the following: sscanf(3), <string.h>,
<ctype.h> wrappers; array, regex(3), stack,
queue operations; GDBM, SQLite, PostgreSQL, MySQL
database interfaces; HTML template engine (BASP);
Expat XML parser interface; x-y char plot; DOS,
CSV, Awk support; Libwebserver interface; RPN
calculator with <math.h> functions; and,
GTK+2 interface for GUI dialog.

Changes:
This release adds a ‘pcursor’ builtin that provides a simple stack of positional parameters. It is similar to when shell functions are called, except here, users “push” and “pop” manually. Shell emulation of ‘strtok(3)’ is added, which is useful when delimiters are not same for all tokens. Syntax for the ‘strinterval’ builtin has been changed to match ‘matchinterval’ for consistency. Finally, the ‘monetra’ builtin has been added for parsing the Montra IP format, which is another card processing middleware in the Retail/POS market.

Eclim (Eclipse integration in vim) is a set of
eclipse and vim plugins that bring Eclipse
functionality to the vim editor. It exposes
Eclipse features through a server interface and
includes a set of vim plugins that communicate
with Eclipse over that interface.

Kevux is an operating system based mainly on GNU
operating programs and a Linux kernel, all
compiled with uclibc instead of the more common
glibc. It is not FHS or LSB compatible. Compared
to other Linux distributions, Kevux is space
efficient (making it suitable for USB disk
operation) and difficult to hack into.

Changes:
OLPC (XO) Support; contains an installation tutorial. The default desktop has been restructured. Numerous programs have been added. There is a restructured boot process (now boots faster). Xorg 1.5.1 server and Mesa 7.2. More languages are compiled as modules for default kernels. Slightly smaller kernel footprints. Numerous other version changes and bugfixes.

aiParts is a set of C++ classes that can be used
to implement artificial intelligence, subclasses
that implement the HighHope technique, and some
sample programs (including “find the shortest
path”). A problem assembled from subclasses of the
High-Hope classes knows how to solve itself by
searching for a good solution.

Changes:
The files rr_solve.h/cpp were renamed to aipReqRes.h/cpp; classes declared in these files were renamed. README.txt was improved.

Lzip is a lossless data compressor based on the
LZMA algorithm, with very safe integrity checking
and a user interface almost identical to the one
of bzip2. Lzip is only a data compressor, not an
archiver. It has no facilities for multiple files,
encryption, or archive-splitting, but, in the Unix
tradition, relies on utilities such as GNU Tar for these tasks. Lzip is very well suited for software distribution.

WebGUI is a content management framework built to
allow average business users to build and maintain
complex Web sites. It is modular, pluggable, and
platform independent. It was designed to allow the
people who create the content to manage it online,
rather than content management taking up the time
of busy IT staff. WebGUI comes with a full host of
features including shopping cart, subscriptions,
forums, photo galleries, FAQs, link lists, blogs,
SQL reports, a Web services interface, and a very
configurable user privilege and profiling system.

Changes:
This is the first beta release of the 7.6 branch of WebGUI. It includes a large number of small features requested by the community, as well as some large changes like a revised and more configurable Admin console and new content menu.

xmlTreeNav is a XML viewer with several features.
It can show the differences between two XML files
(by using software based on the libxmldiff
project). It can also perform XPath searches,
“local XSLT” display, easy tree navigation, and
more.
