
Nitrogen is a background browser and setter for X.
It is written in C++ using the gtkmm toolkit. It
can be used in two modes: browser and recall. It
is multi-head friendly and can even work in GNOME.

Changes:
The UI was improved to be more usable. The "save"
checkbox is gone, and the preview/save behavior is
now based on double clicking an image and pressing
the apply button. This release also fixes a major
bug that caused X errors to occur once in a while,
more so on Xinerama setups.


SYSLINUX is a collection of boot loaders for the Linux operating system which operates on Linux EXT2/EXT3 filesystems, MS-DOS FAT filesystems, network servers using PXE firmware, or from CD-ROMs. SYSLINUX has an advanced extension API and contains two optional menu systems. It also includes MEMDISK, a tool for booting legacy operating
systems from non-traditional media like PXE or CD-ROM.

Changes:
This version contains a number of minor bugfixes
and workarounds for hardware bugs. It fixes the
KBDMAP command which was broken in 3.70.
Additionally, it adds the option to hide primary
partitions from operating systems which otherwise
get confused and the ability to automatically
select 32-bit, PAE, or 64-bit kernels.


myqslBind manages clusters of ISC BIND 9 name servers. It has support for unlimited views, secondary only zones, unlimited masters, hidden masters, and slave name servers. It has template-based end-user and admin interface programs for your Web 2.0 interface. It uses a company contact role permissions model. It is very stable. It is not a MySQL DNS server, but a static configuration model from a MySQL replication cluster. It has a technical schema based back-office for ISP MySQL developers.

GLPI (Gestion Libre de Parc Informatique) is an
information resource manager with an
administration interface. You can use it to build
a database with an inventory for your company
(computers, software, printers, etc.). It has
functions to make the daily life of the
administrators easier, including a job/request
tracking system with mail notification and methods
to build a database with basic information about
your network topology. It provides a precise
inventory of all the technical resources (all
their characteristics are stored in a database)
and management and history of the maintenance
actions and the bound procedures. It is dynamic
and is directly connected to the users, who can
post requests to the technicians.


Nagcon is a console application which replaces the
Nagios Web interface. It allows you to quickly
view which services have become troubled.

Urd is a Web-based Usenet binary download manager.
It stores the newsgroup information in a MySQL database and aggregates the articles into sets of a single download (e.g. one album or movie). The Web interface can be used to search with regular expressions. It uses its own downloading daemon that has support for scheduling downloads and updating databases.
