AgileWiki 0.3 beta (COODBMS branch)

AgileWiki is a program that explores new knowledge
representation. It is an attempt to implement, at
least in part, Norm Kashdan’s Rolonic Theory, a
profoundly different approach to time and
knowledge representation. CowDb is a high-speed
object store over which the next generation of
AgileWiki will be written. COODBMS is a Copy-on-write OODBMS based on Rolonics.

License: Common Public License

Changes:
COODBMS has been reworked to use the new CowDb API and is now fully functional. COODBMS provides a means of organizing nodes into tree structures and organizing those trees into non-cyclic graphs. The power of COODBMS comes not from its capabilities but from its generic nature, as it applies to virtually any application.

Happily, the Tellico collection manager can catalog all sorts of collections, including books, movies, games, cards, coins, comic books, and even wine.

Intel releases graphics programming manuals

Intel has been following a policy of releasing free drivers for its
hardware for some years now, but the company has been a little less
forthcoming with its documentation. That changed at linux.conf.au, where
Intel announced
the release of the manuals for
its 965 Express and G35 Express chipsets. “Containing over 1600
pages of text and figures, the Programmers Reference Manual includes
everything from low level register definitions and discussions on how each
functional hardware block works through descriptions about the hardware
architecture. Each documented feature includes a discussion on how the
hardware works and how the hardware designers expected the software to
operate.” The manuals are available under a Creative Commons license.
