parapin 1.5.0 (Default branch)

parapin makes it easy to write C code under Linux that controls individual pins on a PC parallel port. This kind of control is very useful for electronics projects that use the PC’s parallel port as a generic digital I/O interface. Parapin goes to great lengths to insulate the programmer from the somewhat complex parallel port programming interface provided by the PC hardware, and comes as a user-space C library, or linked as part of a Linux kernel module.

Support for 2.4 kernels has been deprecated, and deprecation warnings at build time have been added. The documentation has been updated.

What’s Wrong With Dell Selling Linux PCs

Predictably, it seems that Dell is dropping Ubuntu PC prices which at first pass would seem like fantastic news. But then you have to couple this fact with the realization that they are not exactly promoting their provided Ubuntu PCs. Actually, they are downright difficult to locate without using the “Find” feature in your browser.

Retchmail 1.1 (Default branch)

Retchmail is almost completely unlike fetchmail:
it lacks features, isn’t particularly robust
(although it won’t delete a message until sendmail
says it was delivered okay), has nearly no
documentation, and is actually fast. It also
handles multiple accounts simultaneously.

Changes:
Updated to compile and run with WvStreams 4.4. Now works properly with GMail’s pop support. Documentation updates.
